Lorena Fortkamp

Lorena C. Fortkamp, 92, Maria Stein, died at 12:20 a.m. March 22, 2011, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.

She was born March 16, 1919, in Cassella, to William and Elizabeth Grevenkamp Frenzer. On July 14, 1948, she married Frank H. Fortkamp, who died Sept. 21, 2006.

Surviving are four children, Charles (Sandy) Fortkamp, Maria Stein, Robert (Jane) Fortkamp, Dublin, Susan Fortkamp, Maria Stein, and Gary (Beth) Fortkamp, Maria Stein; two in-laws, Sylvester Bruggeman, St. Henry, and Marian Fortkamp, Maria Stein; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Also deceased are three brothers and four sisters.

She was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Cassella, and its Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Tom Brenberger officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
