Zane Faurot
Zane C. Faurot, 84, New Knoxville, died at 12:40 a.m. April 29, 2011, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.
He was born March 223, 1927, in Monticello, to Lester and Velira Fisher Faurot. On July 2, 1950, he married Grace Eversman, who survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Phyllis (Bill) Eley, Haines City, Fla., a sister-in-law, Janice (Charles) Schroeder, Delaware; a niece, two nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Doyt Faurot; and a nephew.
He was a 1945 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the medical corps during WWII. He was retired from New Idea Company, Coldwater, and was the owner of Faurot Generator Service in New Knoxville for many years. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lima.
Private family burial rites are noon Tuesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Calling is 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
