Lela Waggoner
Lela Waggoner, 95, Celina, died May 3, 2011, at The Miller House, Celina.
She was born July 9, 1915, in Geneva, Ind., to Amos and Barbara Weaver Dailey. In 1932, she married Kenneth Waggoner, who died in April 1951.
Surviving are three daughters, Betty (Ray) Kuhn, Celina, Bessie Miller, Coldwater, Jeanne (Butch) Braun, Celina; a brother, Thomas (Betty) Dailey, Van Wert; two sisters, Lula Springer, Naples, Fla., and Donna Baxter, Gattlinburg, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, Frank, LaMoil, Charles, Ralph and Perry Dailey; and four sisters, Mary Tindall, Bonnie Dittus, Wilma Dailey and Edna Dailey.
A member of Celina Church of the Nazarene, she was a Girl Scout leader and a 4-H advisor. She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, St. Marys, and Mersman Furniture, Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Revs. Larry Hamilton and John Nunnally officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Cemetery, Mercer.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and one hour before services Friday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice.
