John Brunswick
John P. Brunswick, 78, Coldwater, died at 10:02 p.m. May 17, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born June 22, 1932, in Fort Recovery, to Lawrence and Justine Braun Brunswick. On June 28, 1958, he married Madonna Jutte, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are five children, Michael (Cecelia) Brunswick, Everett, Wash., Linda Brunswick, Coldwater, Janice (Joe) Gordon, Beavercreek, Dan (Cindy) Brunswick, St. Henry, and Carl (Cindy) Brunswick, Coldwater; four siblings, Robert (Erma) Brunswick, Maria Stein, Arthur (Dorothy) Brunswick, Beavercreek, Bill (Vera) Brunswick, Florida, and Bea Flaherty, Iowa; five brothers-in-law, Mark Schwieterman, St. Henry, Orville Schwieterman, Coldwater, Donald (Dorothy) Jutte, Sidney, Thomas (Vivian) Jutte, Bellefontaine, and the Rev. Edgar Jutte C.PP.S., Mexico; a sister-in-law, Delores Schwieterman, Maria Stein; eight grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Steve Brunswick; two brothers, Melvin (Mildred) Brunswick and Richard (Rita) Brunswick; four sisters, Rita (Frank) Tumbusch, Mary Catherine Brunswick, Ruth (Ed) Goubeax and Wilma Brunswick; parents-in-law, T.E. and Mary Jutte; two brothers-in-law, Mike Flaherty and Roger Schwieterman; and two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Schwieterman and Helen Schwieterman.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Coldwater Knights of Columbus, the Ohio Progressive Sportsman, Fort Recovery, and the Fort Recovery Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a hunter safety instructor and had retired from the Mersman Plant, Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
