* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

LaRose Gossette
LaRose B. Gossette, 89, of New Bremen, died at 4:45 a.m. May 27, 2011 at St. Marys Living Center.
She was born April 19, 1922, near New Bremen, to William and Bertha Poppe Dicke.
Surviving are children, Ann (Bernd) Graf, San Jose, Calif., Michael Gossette, Reno, Nev., Susan (Thomas) Rengers and David (Alice) Gossette, all of New Bremen; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are sons, Fred and Thomas Gossette; brothers, Henry and Willis Dicke; and a sister, Wilhelmina Dammeyer.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, and the American Legion Post 241, New Bremen. She was a hospital specialist during World War II with the Navy WAVE. She was a 1940 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She was an apartment manager for 17 years in Fresno, Calif., and was retired from the former Beatrice Foods of New Bremen, where she worked in the laboratory.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery.
Gilbert-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, is handling arrangements.
