Irma Taylor
Irma E. Taylor, 89, St. Marys, died at 1:25 p.m. July 23, 2011, at her residence.
She was born July 21, 1922, in Sidney to Bernard and Elizabeth Hausfeld Tebbe. On Oct. 14, 1950, she married James M. Taylor, who died June 29, 1987.
Surviving are a daughter, Rene (Don) Hicks, and a son, Curtis J. (Christa) Taylor, all of St. Marys; stepson Gary Lee Taylor, Norwood; 12 grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Deceased are brothers, Paul Tebbe and Henry Tebbe; sisters Leona Tebbe, Viola Baumer and Marie Bidwell; a stepdaughter, Constance Leonhart; and a grandson.
A 1942 graduate of Minster High School, she was employed by Walmart, Celina, until October 2010. She previously worked at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital and the former G.C. Murphy Company, St. Marys.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, Eagles Lodge Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289 Auxiliary.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:15-10:15 a.m. Thursday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
