* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 724 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Troy, Sidney, Piqua, Bellefontaine, Kenton, Ada, West Milton, Versailles, Covington, Newport, Bradford, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Pleasant Hill, Botkins and Lakeview.

Dale Winner
Osgood native Dale L. Winner, 69, died Aug. 8, 2011, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
He was born March 7, 1942, in Osgood to Ernest and Veronica "Verona" Berning Winner. In 1975, he married Patricia Lefeld, who is deceased.
Surviving are three sons, Doug (Jackie) Winner, Piqua, Patrick (Elizabeth) Winner, Cincinnati, and Jason Winner, Highland, N.Y.; a daughter, Stacey Winner, Tiffin; four brothers, Ernie (Joanne) Winner, Lakeland, Fla., Jim (Pat) Winner, Minster, Virgil (Sharon) Winner, Dayton,and Jerry (Donna) Winner, Minster; three sisters, Irene (Harold) Stammen, New Bremen, Theresa (Urban) Holthaus, Fort Loramie, and Ruth (Jim) Dorsten, Port Orange, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Elsie Winner, Celina; former wife, Vicki Winner, Troy; and four grandchildren.
He retired from UPS in 1999 after 33 years of service and owned and operated Dale's Coffee Corner and All Occasion Catering, both of Bellefontaine. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Piqua, and served in the National Guard. He worked as a football referee for 27 years.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Tom Grilliot officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine.
Memorials may be made to Caring Neighbors Food Pantry, East Liberty Charge, c/o North Greenfield United Methodist Church, or the American Cancer Society.
