* Until 945 PM EDT.
* At 857 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Waynesfield, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include... Ada, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, Alger, Waynesfield, Mcguffey, Uniopolis, Jumbo, New Hampshire, Huntersville, Walton, and State Route 195 at State Route 235.
This includes I-75 in Ohio near mile marker 118.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Ada, Alger, Waynesfield, Mcguffey, Jumbo, Huntersville, Walton, State Route 195 at State Route 235, and New Hampshire.

Charles George
Former Rossburg resident Charles W. "Butch" George, 75, died at 2:35 a.m. Aug. 9, 2011, at Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles.
He was born July 15, 1936, in Darke County to Earl "Jim" and Marie Meiring George.
Surviving are siblings, Evelyn Mann, Greenville, Millie Harris, Fort Wayne, Ind., Pat (Ray) Doss, Greenville, John George, Plentywood, Mont., Bill George, Versailles, Mike (Paula) George, Sidney, Dale (Diana) George, Versailles, Paul (Rose) George, Sunburst, Mont., and his fiancee, Marlene Long, Rossburg.
Deceased are in-laws, Marilyn George and Don Harris.
He retired after 50 years of service with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18. He began working with De Salvo Construction Company and retired from Danis Construction.
He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the National Bison Association, having raised buffalo for more than 25 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, and beginning at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Alzheimer's Association or State of the Heart Hospice.
