During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Ludwig Wuebker
Ludwig F. "Lutz" Wuebker, 85, St. Henry, died at 2:40 a.m. Aug. 16, 2011, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born Aug. 20, 1925, in Carthagena to John and Helena Selhorst Wuebker. On Oct. 18, 1952, he married Dolores Wolters Wuebker, who survives in St. Henry
Also surviving are five children, John (Nancy) Wuebker, St. Henry, David (Donna) Wuebker, St. Henry, Rose (Michael) Moeder, St. Henry, Rita (Stephen) Giere, Westerville, and Alice (Patrick) Berning, McCartyville; in-laws, Mildred Wuebker, St. Henry, and Lavern Wolters, Coldwater; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Wuebker, St. Henry; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, Roger Wuebker; two brothers, Carl and Raymond Wuebker; and in-laws, Hilda Wuebker, Mildred and Jerome Selhorst, Lucille, Rudy and Mary Link and Alfrieda Wolters.
He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena, and the St. Lawrence Men's Society. A lifelong farmer, he served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Coldwater American Legion Post 470.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
