During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Donald Leffler
Donald H. Leffler, 82, Celina, died at 4:45 a.m. Aug. 16, 2011, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Celina to Howard and Opal Lechliter Leffler. On Dec. 29, 1979, he married Carolyn Baucher, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are his children, Carol Gorn, Bluffton, S.C., Dean (Sue) Leffler, Yorba Linda, Calif., Pam (Ed) Pitionak, Hilton Head, S.C., Shari (Scott) Shelby, Cincinnati, Mitchell Detrick, Celina, and Douglas Detrick, Marietta, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is his first wife, Dorothy Sheets.
A graduate of Celina High School, he worked for his father at Howard Leffler and Son Construction. He was owner/operator of Lima Building Products until he retired in 2000. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Celina, a former Boy Scout master and served as treasurer of Mercer County Sportsmen's Association.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
