During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

PBA bowlers playing softball for charity

Professional bowler Derek Sapp, right, delivers a pitch for the PBA National title holders team against the PBA Regional title holders team during the annual Muscular Dystrophy Association softball tournament at Community Park in Coldwater on Thursday. The professional bowlers competing in the Central Region Lefeld Implement Classic this weekend took part in the charity softball tournament and auctioned off their softball jerseys following Thursday's action. A total of $1,700 were raised from the jersey sails for the MDA. The PBA National title holders won the game 7-6.
