During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Grand, reserve champions sell at auction

Brittany Muhlenkamp, Mercer County Choice Livestock and daughter of Gary Muhlenkamp, showed the overall reserve grand champion market hog and grand champion barrow. The hog was bought for $1,200 by Affolder Implement Sales, Inc., Bruns Show Stock, K&L Tractor Sales, Farm Credit Service, Roesnner Energy Products, Coldwater Young Farmers, Florence Livestock, St. Henry Tile Co., Coldwater Ace Hardware, Winner and Sons, Cooper Farms, Ron Kohnen Farms, Hedit Show Pigs, Jim Buchy, R&D Auto Sales, John Boehner and Harvest Land Coop.
