* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

JoAnn Davis

JoAnn Irene Davis, 75, Russia, died at 5:55 a.m. Sept. 3, 2011, at Covington Care Center.

She was born May 13, 1936, in St. Marys, to Herbert and Clara (Hitchen) Schellenbarg. On Nov. 21, 1953, she married Basil Davis, who survives in Russia.

Also surviving are children, Kathy Hubbard, Russia, Gail Hood, Frenchtown, Basil "Tim" Davis Jr., Russia, Dick (Judy) Davis, Bradford; sisters, Janet (Jack) Frantz, Bradford, Linda (Buddy) Gowdown, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was a lifetime member of Amvets and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Bradford.

Service is 1 p.m. today at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia. Burial will follow in Harris Creek Cemetery.
