Buddy Dials
Buddy M. Dials, 70, St. Marys, died at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 7, 2011, at his residence.
He was born July 13, 1941, in Martin County, Ky., to Abslon and Orgie Meade Dials. On June 24, 1976, he married Nancy L. Shoffstall, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Bonnie (Michael) Carter, Tammy (Bruce) Stubbs, and Tina McCoy, all of Columbus; a sister, Zella Johnson, Inez, Ky.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Deceased are four brothers, Wallace Dials, Rhoads Dials, William Henry Dials and Tony Dials, and four sisters, Elizabeth Maynard, Juanita Gibson, Anna Mae Dials and Avonelle Dials.
He worked in the construction industry in Columbus and retired from Duffy Homes.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Buckland Cemetery, Buckland.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
