Anna Milstead
Anna H. Milstead, 91, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 6:40 a.m. Sept. 23, 2011, at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta.
She was born March 8, 1920, near Botkins, to Frederick and Henrietta Roettger Egbert. On Nov. 23, 1944, she married Mathias "Cy" Milstead, who died July 16, 2000.
Survivors are a brother, Frederick (Louise) Egbert; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are six brothers, Elmer, Harry, William, Charles, Harold and Leroy Egbert; and four sisters, Marie Roediger, Ruth Kettler, Gertrude Kyburz and Henrietta Egbert.
She was a lifetime member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kettlersville, and a member of its Women's Guild. She also was a member of the Koneta Chapter OES, a homemaker and helped her husband farm until 1985 when they moved to Wapakoneta. She volunteered for numerous organizations.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Charles Moeller officiating. Burial is at Willow Grove Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
