A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Livestock care standards are first in the nation

FORT RECOVERY - Ohio's historic livestock care standards went into effect Thursday.
Ohio Department of Agriculture Director and Fort Recovery native Jim Zehringer signed the final administrative order on care standards for alpacas, beef and dairy cattle, goats, horses, llamas, pork, poultry, sheep and veal at Fort Recovery High School. [More]

COLDWATER - After a tough five-game loss to Celina on Tuesday, the Coldwater Cavaliers rebounded with a four-set victory over the Fort Recovery Indians on Thursday at The Palace.
For a while it appeared that the Cavaliers were stuck in the same doldrums that they were during Tuesday's match, which Coldwater's coach Mike Etzler described as "the battle of the ugly." But once they got going the hosts didn't let up and cruised to the win by scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-21 and 25-10. [More]
