Ernest Miller
Ernest H. Miller, 62, Celina, died at 5:57 p.m. Oct. 20, 2011, at his home.
He was born Jan. 14, 1949, in Portland, Ind., to William and Mary Muhlenkamp Miller. On June 25, 1977, he married Sandy Wuebker, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jay Miller, Coldwater, and Chad Miller, Celina; four brothers, Urban Sr. (Ginny) Miller, Liberty, Mo., Ralph Miller, Coldwater, Howard (Betty) Miller, Sidney, and the Rev. Mark Miller, CPPS, Sedalia, Mo.
Deceased are a sister, Juliann Miller, and a sister-in-law, Janice Miller.
He served with the U. S. Army as a medic in Saigon during the Vietnam War. He was a life member and past commander for three terms at Coldwater Veterans of Foreign Wars and as an adjutant for seven years. He was a life member of Coldwater American Legion.
He was owner of St. Henry Gutter and Supply and was a graduate of Bryant High School in Indiana. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and a member of Coldwater Knights of Columbus.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
