A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting late this evening, continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Elwin Duerr
Elwin H. "Butch" Duerr, 63, Coldwater, died at 12:35 p.m. Oct. 29, 2011, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born May 20, 1948, in Adrian, Mich., to Elwin and Marie Sheldon Duerr. On March 13, 1968, he married Sharon Schilling, who died Dec. 20, 2009.
Surviving are two children, Christine (Robert) Jahn, Kettering, and Doug (Andrea) Duerr, Coldwater; four siblings, Shirley (Dick) Sibert, Celina, Linda (Roger) LaRue, Fort Wayne, Ind., Tim Duerr, Indianapolis, and Kellie (Kurt) Hoelscher, Celina; and six grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Charlotte Byers; and a grandson.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and had served with the U. S. Army in Vietnam. He was a member of Coldwater American Legion, Mercer County Veterans Board, Physically Challenged Bow Hunters of America and a former member of the American Red Cross Board in Mercer County.
He was retired from the Celina Post Office.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial, with military rites by the Coldwater American Legion, will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
