GRAND LAKE - A plan of short- and long-term strategies to fight toxic algae blooms in Grand Lake has been released.
Battelle Institute of Columbus, a nonprofit research and development firm, created the plan after sifting through proposals from 75 vendors. The report was presented to the Lake Restoration Commission (LRC) during a recent meeting at Wright State University-Lake Campus. [More]

ST. MARYS - The school board's grounds and buildings committee is recommending the full board accept a $332,000 tennis complex design.
The base estimate covers a five-court design, with the courts sitting side-by-side, 12 feet apart. The complex would be 20 feet from the north side of the new school parking lot, off the corner of state Route 66 and Shipman Road. [More]

The Mercer County-Celina health board on Wednesday moved forward with increasing the administrative fee for vaccinations to counter ongoing funding deficits.
CELINA - The city is considering adding a new position of human resource director.
