Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

Louis Boltz
Louis Charles Boltz, 89, St. Marys, died at 4:28 a.m. Jan. 31, 2012, at The Garden in Celina.
He was born Feb. 9, 1922, in St. Marys to Harry Sr. and Elizabeth Moeller Boltz. On Aug. 29, 1941, he married Millicent A. Chiles, who died Sept. 2, 2002.
Surviving are daughters, Barbara (John) Mihm, St. Marys, and Beverly (Rev. Carl) Ward, Piqua; sisters, Mary Ann (Don) Brotherwood, St. Marys, and Jane Boltz, Coldwater; a brother-in-law, Leo Chiles, Cridersville; a sister-in-law, Louise Boltz, Cridersville; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Charles and Louis Q. Boltz; siblings, Harry "Johnny" Boltz Jr., Louise "Aim" McDermitt, Esther Boltz, Jean Ackley and Bill Boltz.
He attended Grace United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and worked as a machinist in the tool and die industry.
Service is 10 a.m. Friday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Charles Richtmyer officiating. Burial is in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
