Etta May Kreischer
Etta May Kreischer, 84, Van Wert, died Jan. 31, 2012, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.
She was born June 1, 1927, in Paulding County, to Orvel and Florence Pease Reed. On May 7, 1947, she married Richard "Dick" Kreischer, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Yevonne (James) Chiapetta, Perrysburg, Vicki (Stanley "Stan") Laux, Celina, Richard (Suzanne) Kreischer Jr., Van Wert; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Ruth Kreischer and Betty Missler.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church, Harrison Township.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Chad Strabbing officiating. She was a donor to the Anatomical Gift Program for Medical Research at Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University, Dayton.
Calling is one hour prior to service at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert.
