Alice Evans
Alice Castles Evans, 82, died Feb. 13, 2012, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 31, 1929, in Winnsboro, S.C., to Rufus and Mary Lou Ashford Castles. On Dec. 8, 1951, she married Robert Evans, who survives in Wellston.
Also surviving are a brother, Ashford (Becky) Castles, and a sister, Beck (Bill) Gossett, Columbia, S.C., and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are seven of her 10 siblings.
She was a lifelong donor to Crooked Run Baptist Church, Winnsboro. She also had worked as a bookkeeper.
She donated her body to Humanity Gifts at the university of Toledo.
There will be no public service.
