Scattered snow showers occurring across the region will gradually diminish early this morning. While any accumulation will be less than an inch, this will create slick roadways with a quick coating of snow. Not all roads will be affected, but motorists should be aware that driving conditions may change quickly along their route, going from dry to slick. If traveling this morning, use extra caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Bernard Kruse
Bernard C. Kruse, 86, St. Marys, died at 4:44 a.m. May 11, 2012, at the Golden Living Center, St. Marys.
He was born Aug. 3, 1925, in Auglaize County, to John C. and Lula E. (Rohrbacher) Kruse.
On Dec. 18, 1943, he married Ruth Wibbeler, who died Sept. 9, 2007.
Surviving are four children, Linda Temple, St. Marys; Lynn (Mary Jane) Kruse, Coldwater; and Andy (Kathy) Kruse and Don (Peggy) Kruse, all of St. Marys; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A son-in-law, Robert Temple Jr., is deceased.
He was a 1943 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., St. Marys, after 44 years of service.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moulton, where he served as an Ohio District chairman of the Northwest District. He also was a member of the St. Marys American Legion.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. The St. Marys American Legion will hold a service at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Joy Miller officiating. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
