Scattered snow showers occurring across the region will gradually diminish through 9 AM. Most locations will observe snow accumulations of an inch or less. In some of the better snow bands, locally up to 2 inches will be possible.
The cold temperatures will create slick roadways due to the coating of snow. Motorists should be aware that driving conditions may change quickly along their route, going from dry to slick. If traveling this morning, use extra caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Cynthia Nicely
Former Fort Recovery resident Cynthia J. Nicely, 32, Richmond, Ky., died May 16, 2012, at her residence.
She was born July 3, 1979, in Kettering to Roger and Anna Bradam Shrader, who both survive in Fort Recovery.
Also surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Shrader and Lillie Nicely, both of Fort Recovery; two sisters, Viva Shrader, Fort Recovery, and Terri (Chuck) Keller, Coldwater; and a grandmother, Anna Bradam, Miamisburg.
She was a 1997 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and First Church of Christ, both in Fort Recovery.
Services are noon Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Kelly Moody officiating. Burial is at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at the funeral home.
