* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1003 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

Alverta Holsheiser
Alverta Eileen Holsheiser, 95, formerly of Springfield, Ill., died at 1:23 a.m. May 27, 2012, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, where she was a resident.
She was born April 26, 1917, in Girard, Ill., to Otis and Vega Shull Riffey. On Dec. 10, 1937, she married Charles H. Holsheiser, who died April 7, 1999.
Survivors are a daughter, Carol Lynn (Marlen) Yost, Celina; a sister, Evelyn Trover, Springfield; two grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Otis L. Riffey.
She was a 1935 graduate of Springfield High School, a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Brethren in Springfield and St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina. She also was a member of the Springfield Municipal Choir and a Meals on Wheels volunteer for many years.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday in the Meyer Community Chapel on the campus of Otterbein. Her two grandsons will officiate. Burial is at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Girard.
Contributions may be made to Otterbein's Benevolent Care Fund.
