* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Jerome Alig
Jerome W. Alig, 89, Portland, Ind., died June 20, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Ind.
He was born July 28, 1922, in Portland, to John W. and Hilda Droesch Alig. On April 29, 1944, he married Evelyn E. Barga, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, James (Judy) Alig, Bryant, Ind., Robert Alig, Geneva, Ind., and David (Teresa) Alig, Portland; a daughter, Joann (Mark) Heitkamp, New Bremen; two brothers, Don (Vera) Alig, Portland, and Richard (Jeanette) Alig, Coldwater; three sisters, Dorothy Hein, Montezuma, and Bernice Buehler and Rosemary Heitkamp, both of Coldwater; two sisters-in-law, Marceil Alig, Portland, and Levadia Barga, Versailles; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, Ralph and John Alig, an infant sister, Viola, and two grandchildren.
He was retired from Broderick of Muncie, Ind., and from farming. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion, Portland, Ind., and St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Anthony Cemetery, where military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion of Portland.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
