The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Eileen Burris
Eileen M. Burris, 92, of St. Marys, died at 4:35 p.m. June 24, 2012, at St. Marys Living Center.
She was born Dec. 12, 1919, in Auglaize County, to Cloice and Alma Zink Naylor. On Nov. 11, 1938, she married James F. Nester, who died July 6, 1968. She later married Doug Burris on May 15, 1969, and he died Dec. 24, 2006.
Surviving are a stepson, Ned (Donna) Burris, West Chester; two stepdaughters, Nancy Anderson, New Bremen, and Jeannie (Gary) Hasenkamp, Delphos; and two stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Florence Burris and Marie Kinstle, and two brothers, Robert and Jack Naylor.
She had worked at the former Fisher Cheese Company in Wapakoneta for 27 1/2 years.
Private services are planned with burial to take place at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, has charge of arrangements.
