The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Marietta Lochtefeld
Marietta A. Lochtefeld, 91, St. Henry, died June 26, 2012, at the Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Coldwater to John and Rosemary Bertke Rindler. On July 3, 1948, she married Omer Lochtefeld, who died Aug. 8, 2000.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia (Les) Wenning, Fort Recovery, and Mary Jane (Kevin) Bible, Huron; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Kronenberger, Dayton; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Todd, Centerville, and Mary Ann Kremer, Maria Stein.
Deceased are a brother, Carl Rindler, and brothers-in-law, Arthur Kronenberger, Paul Kremer, Greg Lochtefeld and Hugo Lochtefeld.
She was a 1938 graduate of Coldwater High School and a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery, St. Henry.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Memorials may be directed to the activity fund at the Gardens at St. Henry.
