During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

David Gehret
David E. Gehret, 60, of Fort Loramie, was found at his residence, presumed to have passed away July 7, 2012, of natural causes.
He was born Feb. 24, 1952, at Sidney to Clem and Juliana Giere Gehret.
Surviving is a brother, Donald (Connie) Gehret, Troy.
He was self-employed, primarily as a finishing painter.
A memorial service is 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Steven Shoup presiding.
Calling is 1 p.m. Thursday until services.
Memorials may be made to the Sts. Peter & Paul Church Building Fund.
