The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Vera Fleagle
Vera A. Fleagle, 80, Celina, died at 10:45 a.m. Aug. 10, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Aug. 10, 1932, in Louisville, Ky., to Harold and Vera Sloke Rudgal. On Feb. 28, 1953, she married Dr. Robert K. Fleagle, who died Jan. 8, 2001.
Survivors are five sons, Michael (Arlene) Fleagle, Bolingbrook, Ill., Mark Timothy (Tillie) Fleagle, St. Marys, Dr. Jeffrey (Marscia) Fleagle, St. Marys, Todd (Kathy) Fleagle, St. Marys, and Thomas (Ashley) Fleagle, Dayton; a sister, Arvella (Don) McPhaul, Kenosha, Wis.; two sisters-in-law, Norene Fleagle, St. Marys, and Janet (Al) Collins, Sterling Heights, Mich.; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandson.
She graduated from a high school in Kenosha and received a bachelor's degree from Wright State University, Dayton. She was a licensed social worker and worked as a counselor for Gateway Outreach Center, Celina, for several years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Bridge Club, Shakespeare Club and Progress Club, all of St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Monday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
