The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Dalton Luth
Dalton Luth, 86, Celina, died at 6 a.m. Aug. 9, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 27, 1925, in Hopewell Township to Lee Roy and Ruth Hays Luth. His first wife, Thelma June Fisher, died in 1986. On Aug. 29, 1992, he married Sue Hagaman Beougher, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Randy (Mary) Luth, Fort Wayne, Ind., Mike (Stacy) Beougher, Coldwater, and Scott (Jill) Beougher, Celina; three daughters, Denise Luth, Las Vegas, Nev., Diane (Fred) Byrum, Englewood, and Shannon (Bill) Schwieterman, Celina; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a 1943 graduate of Celina High School and attended Capitol University in Columbus. He retired from Reynolds-Reynolds, Celina, where he was the first employee and later, plant manager. He also served in World War II in the Army Air Corps.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, American Legion, Moose Lodge and Fraternal Order of Eagles, all in Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Revs. Jeff Gramza and Doug Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Buck Cemetery, Celina. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials may be given to Mercer County Cancer Society.
