Mary Caywood
Mary Lois Caywood, 82, Rockford, died at 4:28 p.m. Aug. 17, 2012, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 8, 1930, in Springport, Mich., to Morris and Anna LaVerne Lawrence Williams. On Aug. 8, 1953, she married Lowell Edwin Caywood, who died March 7, 2008.
Surviving are two sons, Randal Lee Caywood, Rockford, and John Lowell (Angela) Caywood, Celina; two daughters, Betty Lou Caywood, Rockford, and Deborah Sue (Richard) Thompson, Portland, Ind.; two stepchildren, Jim LaDoyt Caywood, Van Wert, and Leona (John) Hudson, Blissfield, Mich.; four brothers, Larry (Karen) Williams, St. Marys, Maurice Lee Williams, Celina, Bill (Barb) Williams, Mendon, and Tom Williams, Rockford; three sisters, Nancy (Larry) Florence, Coldwater, Patty (Ed) Raudabaugh and Arlene Riley, both of Van Wert; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 11 stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Don and Jack Williams, and two sisters, Joan Williams and Phyllis Stover.
A homemaker and a former sewer at Tuway Products in Rockford, she was a member of Olive Branch Church of God, Rockford, and the Red Hat Society.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, Pastor Steve Waterman officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
