The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Thomas Morsey
Thomas F. Morsey, 87, Minster, died Aug. 20, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born Aug. 6, 1925, in Minster, to Oliver and Ann Thobe Morsey. On May 8, 1948, he married Mary L. Holtzhauer, who survives.
Other survivors are his children, Jay (Barb) Morsey, Minster, David (Joanne) Morsey, Punta Gorda, Fla., Helen (Gary) Westrick, Maumee, Allen (Diane) Morsey, Plain City, Karen (Mark) Anders, Cincinnati, Douglas (Brenda) Morsey, Minster, and Dorothy (Dan) Weaver, Minster; 24 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is an infant brother, Norman Morsey.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, and a 1943 graduate of Minster High School. He was a former member of the board of directors of Minster Bank for 28 years and retired in 1984. He also was an original member of the board of directors of Community Lanes Bowling Center, Minster, and Minster Civic Association.
He retired in 1984 as owner and operator of Frank Morsey and Sons Egg Processing Plant, Minster. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a Purple Heart recipient, and a member of American Legion Post 387, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial with full military honors by the Minster Firing Squad is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
