The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Echo Kettering
Echo Louise Kettering, 96, of Rockford, died at 2:24 p.m. Sept. 16, 2012, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert.
She was born Dec. 16, 1915, in Mercer County, to Emmett and Kitty Wolfe Stallter. On Feb. 14, 1937, she married C. Ray Kettering, who died Jan. 18, 2008.
Surviving are a son, Keith (Kris) Kettering, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; three daughters, Kay (John) Thomas, Rockford, Karen (Wayne) Roell, Dale, Ind., and Kathy McHie, Oakton, Va.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
  Deceased are two sisters, Nadine Rohlfing and Donna Pontsler, and a granddaughter.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church (now known as Rockford United Methodist Church), where she taught Sunday School, served as a junior high youth leader and held various positions in the women's group. She was a graduate of Rockford High School and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, Farm Bureau and the Farm Women's Club.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
