Othmar Osterloh
Othmar A. Osterloh, 83, Rossburg, died Nov. 11, 2012, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 13, 1929, in Egypt, to Aloys and Blanche Meier Osterloh. On July 20, 1955, he married Jovita Bertke, who survives.
Also surviving are six children, Tom (Linda) Osterloh, Minster, Luke (Sharon) Osterloh, Versailles, Marlene (Ron) Pohl, Coldwater, Deb (Dale) Albers, Maria Stein, Mike (Janice) Osterloh, New Weston, and Joe (Brenda) Osterloh, Burkettsville; a daughter-in-law, Linda (Ed) Dircksen, Minster; siblings Alma Puthoff, Coldwater, Rita Eilerman, Fort Loramie, Jerome Osterloh, Piqua, Linus (Yolanda) Osterloh, Canal Winchester, Ivo (Barb) Osterloh; Minster, Alberta (Jack) Rethman, Versailles, Irvin (Norma) Osterloh, Arkdale, Wis., and Janice (Tom) Wietzel, Pickerington; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Bernard Osterloh; a sister, Laura Osterloh and two brothers-in-law, Norbert Eilerman and Ed Puthoff.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, and its Men's Holy Name Society. He was a former Eucharistic Minister. He also was a member at Knights of St. John, Maria Stein, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Memorials may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
