* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Carthagena, Neptune, Chattanooga and Maria Stein.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 435 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Wapakoneta, St. Marys, New Bremen, Minster, Jackson Center, Botkins, New Knoxville, Moulton, Buckland, Uniopolis, Kettlersville, Fryburg, McCartyville, Montra, St. Johns, Bulkhead and Egypt.

Belva Jean Roessner-Sandy
Belva Jean Roessner-Sandy, 74, Carthage, Ill., and formerly of Montezuma, died Jan. 19, 2013, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
She was born Sept. 17, 1938, in Piqua to Casper Dee and Viola Copher Herron. On May 10, 1958, she married Bruno Roessner, who died Feb. 9, 1993. On Jan. 13, 2006, she married John Sandy, who survives in Carthage, Ill.
Also surviving are 10 children, Bonita Swallow of Versailles, Bernard (Kathy) Roessner of New Knoxville, Bruce (Darlene) Roessner of St. Henry, Bennett (Kim) Roessner of Bowling Green, Bryan (Melissa) Roessner of Greenville, Brenda (Lloyd Jr.) Klett of Lima, Brice Roessner (Kay Knoop) of Greenville, Brad (Deb) Roessner of Portland, Ind., Brent Roessner (Jackie Mescher) of Sidney and Bernice Brogaard (Fernando Moreno) of Coldwater; three stepchildren, Luana (Dwayne) Graber of Breese, Ill., Liana (Jason) Fink of Quincy, Ill., and Christine (Billy) Smith of Carthage, Ill.; 33 grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; siblings, Tarryl (Terry) Herron of Covington, Nancy Smith of Kentucky, Dewey Herron of Piqua, Ted (Lucinda) Herron of Piqua, Sue Wright of Covington and Dusty (Charlotte) Herron of Covington; and a sister-in-law, Ginny Herron of Anna.
Deceased are three brothers, Marvin, Donald and Mike, and a brother-in-law, Gary Wright.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Association.
