At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Ellen Huckriede
Ellen Edna Schierholt Huckriede, 87, St. Marys, died Feb. 9, 2013, at Otterbein Retirement Community, St. Marys.
She was born July 17, 1925, in New Bremen to Frank and Emma Heitman Schierholt, who are deceased. She was married to Earl Huckriede on Dec. 12, 1944, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen. He passed away March 15, 2011.
She is survived by three daughters, Connie (Don) Burgess, St. Marys, Jennifer (Stephen) Hays, Celina, and Christine (Ken) Koverman, St. Marys; her sister, Melba Idle, Wapakoneta; and six grandchildren, Laura Hays (Mike) Sursi, Mooresville, N.C., Luke (Karyn) Hays, Cornelius, N.C., Ryan (Amy) Burgess, Columbus, Kevin (Kasie) Burgess, Chagrin Falls, Angela (Shane) McCollum, St. Marys, and John Koverman, Columbus. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a twin sister, Helen Schierholt; two sisters, Carmine Schaefer and Edna Nieter; and two brothers, Willis Schierholt and Dennis Schierholt.
She graduated from New Bremen High School in 1943. She retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital after 21 years in patient accounts. She was an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.
Her pastimes included reading and doing puzzles. She enjoyed boating, fishing and camping in Michigan. She was an avid basketball fan, especially of Ohio State. She took tremendous pleasure and special interest in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and her husband enjoyed traveling all over the country and abroad to Germany.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Graveside services will be in New Bremen at the German Protestant Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's United Church of Christ or Otterbein Retirement Community, both of St. Marys.
