Gregory Lones, 57, Indianapolis, Ind., died unexpectedly March 13, 2013.

Surviving are his father, Philip (Linda) Lones; his mother, Mary Ann (Dan) Briner; a sister, Cherie (Jack) Placie; four stepsisters, Jenny (Jeffrey) Godcharles, Deb Briner Homan, Nancy Briner and Teresa (Steve) Schuholz; two stepbrothers, Chris Pierson and Jeffrey (Sandy) Briner; several nieces and nephews; his longtime friends, Carrie O'Dell and Robert Cheesman; a large extended family; and an endless list of friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley (Agnes) Lones and Harry (Lena) Graham.

He grew up in Lima and graduated from Lima Shawnee High School and Northwestern Business College. He was very successful in the Tire and Auto Industry; his coworkers and customers loved the passion he had for his job.

He spent time doing charity work, which he truly enjoyed. He also loved boating with his family and friends. He was a devoted and loving son and brother who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

There will be a private family funeral service and a celebration of his life in the near future.

Donations in his memory may be given to the American Cancer Society or Wheeler Mission Ministries.
