Margaret Heistan
Margaret Heistan, 82, Venice, Fla., and formerly of St. Marys, passed away peacefully April 7, 2013, at Tidewell Hospice House in Sarasota, Fla.
She was born May 11, 1930, in Celina to Matt and Levon Sunderhaus. She married Jack Heistan on Feb. 18, 1949, and he passed away Aug. 6, 2007.
Survivors include two sisters, Jean Losher of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Hanna (Maurice) Heckler of Celina; her children, John (Sharon) Heistan of Coldwater, Mich., Kathy (Don) Kilbourne of Indianapolis, Ind., Jeff (Sonja) Heistan of Lima and Karen (Sam) Heistan of Venice, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her two sons, Jerry Heistan and Joseph Heistan.
A Mass will be held 10-11 a.m. Friday at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Englewood, Fla. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Alan Moore Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Tidewell Hospice House, Sarasota, Fla.
