Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Roger Oglesbee
Roger D. Oglesbee, 66, formerly of Van Wert, died at 12:15 a.m. June 28, 2013, at CHP Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.
He was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Paulding County to William Emerson and Rosemary Webster Oglesbee, who are deceased. On Oct. 2, 1970, he married Mary Ellen Helton, who died April 23, 2012.
Surviving are children, Roger Oglesbee Jr., Celina, Beverly (Rick) Boroff, Van Wert, Cheryl Howell, Van Wert, Lucinda (Rick) Simpkins, Elida, and Phillip (Cindy) Howell, Streetsboro; a sister, Mary Ann Rockwell, Traverse City, Mich.; grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Oglesbee, Hillary (Bill) Steiger, Matt (Kari) Rodriguez, Danielle (Kevin) Longstreth, Terra Howell, Tori Simpkins, Breanna (Blaine) Dennis, Sarah Aurand and Morgan Felger; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Billy Oglesbee.
He was owner and mechanic of Oglesbee's Align & Auto Repair, retiring in 2006. He attended First United Brethren in Christ Church, Van Wert, and St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina. He graduated from Lincolnview High School. He enjoyed fishing with family and friends and spending time with his grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert; the Rev. Jodi Harr officiating. Burial is at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Military rites will be conducted by the combined honor guard of the American Legion and VFW posts of Van Wert.
Calling is 1-5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday.
Contributions may be made to First United Brethren in Christ Church or CHP Inpatient Hospice Center.
