Violet LaBrun
Violet I. LaBrun, 92, Chattanooga, died June 27, 2013, at Woodcrest of Decatur, Ind.
She was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Decatur to George and Flossie Lee Brown. In 1939, she married Robert LaBrun, who died in 2003.
Surviving are a son, Don (Debbi) LaBrun, Rockford; three grandchildren, Greg and Kevin LaBrun, and Jessica Vogel; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Marlene Vogel; a son, Larry LaBrun; a brother, Carl Brown; and a sister, Mariam Miller.
She was a former employee of Chatt Valley Foods and retired from CTS, Berne, Ind. She and her husband spent 17 years wintering in Sebring, Fla. Her special interests included crafts, gardening and bird watching.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bethel Brethren Church, Berne, the Rev. Joe Nass officiating. Burial is at MRE Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
