The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Barbara Romer
Barbara A. Romer, 65, formerly of Battle Creek, Mich., died April 11, 2013, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
She was born Aug. 30, 1947, in Celina to the late Stanley and Loretta Osterfeld Romer.
Surviving are a brother, Joseph Romer of St. Henry; a sister, Irene Kinkley of St. Marys; and in-laws, Anthony Kohnen of Dayton, Richard Siefred of Arkansas and Joan Romer of Memphis, Tenn.
Deceased are two sisters, Flora Kohnen and Elizabeth Siefred; a brother, Dan Romer; and in-laws, John Kinkley and Patricia Romer.
She worked for Defense Logistics Information Service in Battle Creek, Mich., Dayton and Columbus.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry Catholic Church, with a celebration of life to follow. Burial will be in St. Henry Cemetery.
