The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

James Maze
James H. Maze, 80, St. Marys, died at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 15, 2013, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born March 13, 1933, in Chicago, to Clarence and Jessie Jones Maze. He married Muriel Bensman on Aug. 3, 1957, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. She survives at the residence.
Other survivors are eight children, Julia Maze, St. Marys, Michael (Carol) Maze, Bellefontaine, Mary (Wayne) Cooper, Dublin, Thomas (Teresa) Maze, St. Marys, John (Terri) Maze, St. Marys, William Maze, St. Marys, Carol (Dave) Lengerich, St. Marys, and James Maze, St. Marys; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Kay Maze, St. Marys, and Lois Maze of Monroe, Wis.
Deceased are three brothers, Robert, Richard and Thomas Maze.
He was a 1951 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea during the Korean War. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, and later worked at Siferd Hosselman Co. and Spring Flowers, both of St. Marys.
He was a member of American Legion Post 323, VFW Post 9289 and Eagles Lodge 767, all of St. Marys. He also was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid woodworker.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial with military honors by the VFW and American Legion will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, West Chapel, St. Marys.
Contributions may be given to Friends of Holy Rosary School.
