* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 714 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

Laurie Shaner
Laurie R. Shaner, 86, Celina, died Sept. 24, 2013, at The Gardens of Celina.
She was born May 14, 1927, in New Bremen, to Alvin and Laura Bertke Dicke. On Feb. 16, 1952, she married Vilas Leon Shaner, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Gwen (David) Howell, Celina; two sons, Grady (Diane) Shaner, St. Marys, and Kent (Karen) Shaner, Maria Stein; grandchildren, Leah (Curt) Cramer, Derek (Lacy) Howell, Grant (Stephanie) Shaner, Marcy Shaner, Kyle Shaner and Kristi Shaner; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Dicke and Wilton Dicke.
She gradated in 1945 from New Bremen High School and worked at Celina Insurance Group, the cafeteria at Celina West Elementary, Celina Lumber Co., Cron's Tire and Supply, and the Mercer County Treasurer's office. She served 20 years with her husband as caretaker for the Mercer County 4-H camp and also played an instrumental role in building and operating the Padlock Inn Warehouse in St. Marys.
She was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, and enjoyed quilting and playing cards with her friends and family. In recent years, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in different activities.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Matt Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Mercer Memory Gardens.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be given to State of the Heart Hospice, and St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
