* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 714 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

Jerry Gaus
Jerry L. Gaus, 71, Columbus, passed away Sept. 25, 2013, at his home.
He is survived by his daughter, Debi (Dave) Reynard; his son, Mike (Laura) Gaus; grandchildren, Sydney Gaus, Madelyn Gaus, Nathan Reynard and Evan Reynard; his sister, Joyce (Bob) Linn; his brother, John (Betty) Gaus; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Clarence and Alice Gaus, and his wife, Kay Gaus.
He served in the U.S. Army, retired from Crane Plastics, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of American Legion Post 465.
Calling is 10 a.m.-noon Friday at O.R. Woodyard Co. Chapel, Columbus.
Interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Ohio Health Hospice.
