Lee Leugers
Lee Leugers, 94, Clayton, died Dec. 2, 2013, at home from brain cancer.
Of German descent, he was born Jan. 4, 1920, in North Star, to Henry and Josephine Zumbrink Leugers.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Flora; a son, Don Leugers; a daughter, Patti (Lynn) Army; a sister, Joan Simon; stepchildren, Danny Comer, Cheryl (Keith) Medley, Vicki (Chuck) Siefke and Cynthia Comer; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; three stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rita; a son; two daughters; six brothers; and six sisters.
He retired in 1982 from Carpenters Local #104. He loved to garden and work on his five-acre homestead. He was a longtime faithful member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Englewood.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Englewood, the Rev. Jim Seibert officiating.
Calling is 9 a.m. until time of the Mass on Saturday. Graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Cemetery in Celina.
