Richard Huffman
Richard Dean Huffman, 67, Celina, passed away at 1 a.m. on Dec. 18, 2013, at his residence with his family.
He was born April 23, 1946, in Rockford, to the late Victor Wade and Ruby "Lucille" Book Huffman. On June 19, 1971, he married Nancy Grimm, who died Dec. 17, 1998.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie (Benjamin) Jones, Celina, and Cindy (Channon) Fishbaugh, Celina; 6 grandchildren, Kaitlann Jones, Kasyn Fishbaugh, Ethan Jones, Kaleb Fishbaugh, Wyatt Jones and Keaton Fishbaugh; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen (Dean) Luginbill and Barb (Bob) Schumm, all of Rockford.
He was a 1964 graduate of Rockford High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Reynolds & Reynolds in Celina. He was a member of the Celina American Legion Post #210 and the Celina Moose Lodge.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, with the Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, with military honors by the Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5713 and the Celina American Legion Post #210.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. American Legion membership services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.
