Celina gas line break
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Dominion East Ohio Gas crews work to fix a gas leak along East Market Street in Celina Tuesday. Celina Public Works Superintendent Joe Wolfe said said Shinn Brothers workers hit an unmarked, abandoned gas line while working on the Market Street reconstruction project on Tuesday. The eastbound lane had to be dug up to fix the resulting gas leak, he said. The street was closed about 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. as Dominion crews worked to cap the line, which likely had run to a residence that previously occupied the lot now housing Taco Bell, Wolf said.
