The entrance to the police department (brick wall) is located near the rear doors of the new city building at 225 N. Main St. The area will soon be enclosed with a secure doorway and a communication system will be added for visitors who need assistance when the main building is closed after business hours. Visitors may continue to go to the city hall building at 202 N. Main St. if a dispatcher or the fire department is immediately needed. Dispatchers remain on duty 24 hours a day and are currently not working in the new building.
