$2.8M general fund ending balance reported from 2013
CELINA - The city is beginning the year with a general fund carryover of $2.8 million, prompting officials to reassess the half-percent income tax increase approved in 2010 for fire and police protection.
St. HENRY - Village council members on Monday night passed a 2014 budget providing almost $4 million for projects, expenses and salaries.
During the brief meeting, council welcomed two newly elected members, Brad Evers and Terry Uhlenhake, who were sworn in earlier this month.
ST. MARYS - Safety service director Greg Foxhoven could receive a 2 percent bonus of his annual salary in lieu of a pay raise in 2014.
